On-site licensed nursing care at your senior community is a major part of your wellness plan. At Magnolia Terrace Senior Living there is a registered nurse or licensed nurse in your community full time during the week and on-call during the weekends. This is the part of the equation of wellness that is only available at Magnolia Terrace in the Monroe County area. You will receive a personal wellness assessment prior to moving to our community by one of our licensed nurses. With the information provided during this assessment a specific personalized plan of care will be developed for you to help you live a life with dignity and independence. Re-assessments are completed every three months or when your health conditions change to ensure that you receive the highest level of care.
Licensed nurses often observe changes in your condition and communicate this information to you, your family or your physician. Our trained clinicians help identify changes in your health or unusual behaviors and communicate this to your physician. This is key to promoting aging in place and maximizing your quality of life.
Our licensed nursing staff is available to assist you with overall medication management and to reconcile your medications after a hospital stay. Another important service that the licensed nurse will help you with is education about your health conditions or simply helping you learn how to enhance your mobility to avoid falls. Preexisting conditions, medical complications and understanding of a disease process are all skills that our licensed nurses can help explain. We develop the best plan to assist you achieve and maintain an optimal quality of life.
